  About The Rhinos

The Rhino's Ice Hockey Team is based on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. "Erina Ice Arena", is the Rhinos home rink- an exciting world class facility located within Erina Fair, the largest shopping centre on one level in the Southern Hemisphere.

The Central Coast Rhinos Team was founded in 2005 and joined the AIHL in the same year. Despite this limited amount of time, at a very new ice rink, the team is able to match it with any team in the competition.

The intention of the club is to encourage, develop, promote and advance the sport of Ice Hockey on the Central Coast and infect the people of the Central Coast with the “ice hockey virus”, and we know you will enjoy the experience and fascination of this sport.

The imports from Europe and North America add to the quality of the Hockey and help elevate the performance of the local players.

The home venue of the Central Coast Rhinos is Erina Ice Arena. This rink is regarded by the locals to be the best Hockey rink in Australia. The noise from the large crowds at each home game is like a stampede of Rhinos and very infectious.

The cost of attending a Rhinos Home Game at Erina Ice Arena is $6 for Kids, $12 for Adults and $30 for a family of 4.

The Rhinos would like to thank all their supporters and especially radio station Star-FM who have been promoting all the home games.
