Ice Hockey players from Canada, USA, Italy, Czech, Slovakia, Finland & France are now arriving in Australia to play in the Australian International Ice Hockey Cup. This is the second year of the competition after a hugely successful inaugural year in 2009.
The Central Coast Rhinos will battle it out against the Canadian Maples, the American Eagles and the Sydney Giants. All teams this year will have highly ranked import players as well as Australian players. This will create 4 very strong teams which will produce exciting high quality ice hockey games for the crowds.
The games will be played every Saturday afternoon from 22nd May to 7th August at Erina Ice Arena. Games will also be played at Sydney Ice Arena.
The Rhinos have recruited some brilliant players from Canada and Europe to give them their strongest team ever and a great chance at winning the Cup in 2010.
Ice Hockey is one of the most excitng spectator sports and at Erina Ice Erina they make sure that the best facilities are provided to ensure that you have a great evening's entertainment. There are also fun games and prizes for spectators.
Tickets for the games are $12 for Adults and $6 for Kids under 12 years of age. All tickets are on sale at the ice rink at the door before the game.
You might consider having a bite to eat before or after the big game at one of the fabulous restaurants in "the Hive" at Erina Fair Shopping Centre. Hot food and drinks are also available in the Ice Arena at reasonable prices.
