Welcome to the Home Page of the Central Coast Rhinos Ice Hockey Team. The Rhinos team is based at Erina Ice Arena in the beautiful Erina Fair Shopping Centre about one hour on the scenic freeway north of Sydney, Australia.
The Rhinos played in the Australian Ice Hockey League from 2005 to 2008. In early 2009 the Rhinos won the 'Wilson Cup' a prestigious pre-season competition between 4 top Australian Ice Hockey Teams.
In 2009, the Rhinos competed in the Australian International Ice Hockey Cup and were placed second after being defeated in the Final Playoff by The Canadian Maples. This League attracted huge crowds with over 650 attending the final playoff.
In 2010 The Rhinos again made the final playoff of the International Cup and after a close game were narrowly defeated by the Canadian Maples in front of a crowd of 750.
The 2011 the USA Eagles defeated the Rhinos in the final after the Rhinos finished ahead of Toronto Moose, Montreal Maples and Sydney Giants in the five team competition.
